12.1 Receiver Sensitivity Tests

This chapter provides receiver sensitivity test data for the gateway across different frequency bands and spreading factors, measured using a professional vector signal generator.

Test Conditions
- Environment: shielded room, temperature 25 ± 2 °C
- Equipment: Rohde & Schwarz SMBV100A vector signal generator (ROHDE&SCHWARZ SMBV100A)
- Method: Signal level is decreased step by step; minimum level at which PER < 10 % is recorded
- LoRa parameters: BW125, CR4/5, Preamble 8

- Equipment: Agilent N9020A spectrum analyzer
- Method: Direct connection with a 20 dB attenuator to protect the analyzer
- Power setting: maximum (27 dBm)
